Chinch Bugs

Chinch bugs love St. Augustine grass! If you see a spot in your lawn where almost all the St. Augustine grass is yellow or dead but other grasses and weeds are still green, Chinch bugs are the usual suspects.

Downy Mildew

During cool, wet weather, some greenhouse plants can become infected with downy mildew (Plasmopara). Some of the crops susceptible to downy mildew are salvia, pansy, rosemary, impatiens, aster, geranium and viola.
